We went Valletta on last Saturday.
As highly recommended by locals, we decided to go for "The Malta Experience"
First, we watched a 45 mins show explaining the history of Malta in all languages.
This is the coolest part of it, we are like in the UN meeting where we switch to our own preferred language for our own headphones.
The show gives a very good overview of Malta, who took over the island at which year, reasons for taking over, what was the life like......
Honestly, I think we only absorbed 3/4 of the information. It was too lengthy.
After the show, a heed tour followed, explaining the structure of the building.
Why is this wall magnificent, how did this helped in the past,.......
We see some knights and guards in a Hospital during the war days. It was just 2 very big and empty rooms.
I guess we went on the wrong days, as they had seminars held earlier. Tables and chairs were placed in the rooms, where it totally affected the view and mood of the rooms.
It was an approximately 20mins tour.
The end of the Malta experience.
Review: It is too expensive. It cost €14 each person. The show was informative but the tour was no fun at all. I would probably choose to read about it instead.
